MEET E.A. CHANCE

E.A. Chance writes suspenseful, character-driven science fiction about ordinary people facing extraordinary circumstances. Her stories explore what happens when familiar worlds fracture, impossible choices arise, and everyday heroes discover just how much courage they possess.

Her love of writing began in grade school when she was introduced to poetry. Although she was already an avid reader, she had never considered putting her own imagination onto the page. That first creative spark grew brighter when she discovered prose in high school, transforming a childhood interest into a lifelong passion. Thanks to readers like you, she is still creating new worlds and telling stories all these years later.

At the heart of her writing is the belief that the most powerful stories do more than entertain. They transport readers beyond the boundaries of their own lives, allow them to experience danger and discovery through someone else’s eyes, and remind them of the strength they carry within themselves. Her characters may confront solar catastrophes, fractured realities, and threats that stretch across the universe, but their greatest challenges are always deeply human. Because even when humanity faces the impossible, hope, courage, and connection can still light the way.

When she is not writing, E.A. Chance is a wife, the mother of four incredible sons, and Nana to two amazing grand-darlings. She loves walking, cycling, spending time outdoors, and being near the water. She sometimes suspects she is part water sprite, and once put that theory to the test by working as a whitewater rafting guide.

A few other things about her: she's left-handed, adores dogs, is an avid baseball fan, and cannot stand beans. Seriously. Not even a little.

She also writes suspenseful women’s fiction and historical fiction under the name Eleanor Chance.
